Chelsea Beading has been created as a bead that is usually put in front of Skirting Board to give it extra depth (for this we would usually suggest a Height of 45mm and a Projection of 15mm). Customers also tend to order this profile if they are looking for some beading around joinery, and it is also found on window shutters to add detail.

Please note the profile size remains the same, regardless of the width you choose.  As the width increases, so does the size of the flat of the board beneath the profile.

The main cover image shows the profile at 30mm High (Vertical measurement) x 15mm Projection (Horizontal measurement).

Please note that you may need to cut 100mm from each end of your dado rails to remove moulding flutter.  We leave this on to protect the ends of the boards during transit and it means that your ordered length has more chance of being intact on arrival.
