Astragal mouldings are composed of a half-round surface, usually surrounded by various symmetrical planes. Our Astragal Wall Panelling Cap, sometimes known as Double Astragal, is usually used at the top of Shaker Style Wall Panelling to give a neat transition from the top of the Wall Panelling to where it meets the wall. 

Please select the respective rebate option so that it covers the projection of the Wall Panelling that it sits on.  We would suggest leaving and absolute minimum of 6mm on the top of the board, before the rebate starts.

The main cover image shows the profile Height of 28mm (Vertical measurement) x 22mm Projection (Horizontal measurement) with a 9mm x 9mm rebate.

We also offer a matching 35mm x 15mm Astragal Small Wall Panelling which has a profile Height of 35mm and a 15mm Projection, and 21mm x 10mm Astragal Mini Wall Panelling which has a profile Height of 21mm and a 10mm Projection.

Please note that you may need to cut 100mm from each end of your length to remove moulding  flutter.  We leave this on to protect the ends of the boards during transit and it means that your ordered length has more chance of being intact on arrival.
