Our Victorian Dado Rail, is usually used for creating Beading Boxes on walls, either above or below our matching Victorian Large Dado Rail.or used as a Dado Rail on its own when you want a smaller less prominent moulding.   Whilst it is often used for this, it can also be used at the base or top of a column, or to add additional impressive decorative trim / framing detail to doors, ceilings and furniture.  It is moulded with a profile Height of 50mm and an 18mm Projection. 

We also offer  Vicorian Small Dado Rail which is has a Height of 41mm and an 18mm Projection, and Victorian Large Dado Rail which is has a Height of 60mm and a 25mm Projection.

Please note that we allow up to a total of 200mm to be cut off each length of dado due to moulding 'flutter' at the each end of the length.  We leave the 'flutter' on to protect the good part of the length.  Rest assured the length you have purchased is the length you we will be able to use (once the ends have been squared and the flutter has been cut off).
