Astragal mouldings are composed of a half-round surface, usually surrounded by various symmetrical planes. 

Our Astragal Large Dado Rail, sometimes known as Double Astragal, is very popular.   Whilst it is often used for wall panelling / beading, it can also be used at the base or top of a column, or to add additional impressive decorative trim / framing detail to doors, walls, ceilings and furniture.  It is moulded with a profile width of 45mm and an 18mm depth. 

We also offer 35mm x 15mm Astragal Small Wall Panelling which has a profile width of 35mm and a 15mm depth, and 21mm x 10mm Astragal Mini Wall Panelling which has a profile width of 21mm and a 10mm depth.

Please note that you may need to cut 100mm from each end of your dado rails to remove moulding flutter.  We leave this on to protect the ends of the boards during transit and it means that your ordered length has more chance of being intact on arrival.
