Astragal mouldings are composed of a half-round surface, usually surrounded by various symmetrical planes. 

Our Astragal Large Dado Rail, sometimes known as Double Astragal, is very popular.   Whilst it is often used for beading, it can also be used at the base or top of a column, or to add additional impressive decorative trim / framing detail to doors, walls, ceilings and furniture.  It is moulded on an with a profile Height of 45mm and an 18mm Projection. 

Please note that you may need to cut a total of 200mm from each end of your dado rail to remove moulding flutter.  We leave this on to protect the ends of the boards during transit and it means that your ordered length has more chance of being intact on arrival.   

We also offer 35mm x 15mm Astragal Small Wall Panelling which has a profile Height of 35mm and a 15mm Projection and an 50mm x 25mm Astragal Extra Large Wall Panelling which has a profile Height of 50mm and a 25mm Projection.
