Astragal mouldings are composed of a half-round surface, usually surrounded by various symmetrical planes. 

Our Astragal Small Beading, sometimes known as Double Astragal, is very popular.   Whilst it is often used for beading, it can also be used at the base or top of a column, or to add additional impressive decorative trim / framing detail to doors, walls, ceilings and furniture.  The main cover image shows the profile at 35mm High (Vertical measurement) x 15mm Projection (Horizontal measurement).

Please note that you may need to cut 100mm from each end of the length to remove moulding flutter.  We leave this on to protect the ends of the boards during transit and it means that your ordered length has more chance of being intact on arrival.
